This elegantly framed sign in the Mandarin Gallery Mall in Orchard Road requests that patrons in the rest areas refrain from eating, snoozing and canoodling. Replacing the dim lights, whispering voices and high-sided pink cosy sofas with wooden benches would probably be a start if they management is so against this sort of outrageous behaviour. The rope barrier underneath the three signs adds an extra layer of mystery.
